Didn't really get much out of this book. I'm new to reloading and I didn't find it all that helpful. I'm concerned I'm gonna blow my hand off or something learning to reload. How did you all start?

i have a sierra manual, a speer, and a Lyman.
out of all of em i like the lyman the best.
not sure what your looking for, but i would start getting a good grasp of the teachings in the stickies here in this section. there is great information there. for free. learn as much as you can.

Thanks for the info.
I've read the stickies again and again and I'm hoping it'll help me purchasing my first set of reloading gear. I don't get much time to shoot. Maybe 100 rounds a month so I'm gonna start with the most simple equipment ever and find out what I'm doing.
