? about muzzle brake for Sako TRG-42 in 338

Hi all,

I know there are several great options for muzzle brakes for the Sako TRG. I had a question about a particular one.

Take a look at this one on ebay:

Does anyone have any experience with this one? It's doesn't have a brand on it or anything.

I have had the stock one on two of my TRG which has three ports on each side. This one has four so more surface area, might be pretty effective? Looks cool.

If your going to use it on a 338 make sure the diameter is right, otherwise might be disastrous.

Yeah that's one of the things I was wondering about. Just curious to see if anyone had any knowledge of this one.

That brake looks a lot like an APA Fat Bastard (the ports anyway). However, it does have the clam shell feature which allows it to be removed & reinstalled easily for cleaning, suppressor, etc.

Scroll down there are a series of videos on not only brakes they manufacture, but other manufactures that they are comparing too. It's not an endorsement just a well through out way of measuring a brakes effectiveness. I do use an APA brake and it does work quite well.
