Gunsmithing ? about ordering a stock

Not sure if this is the correct place to post this question, but I hope to get an answer from the folks that work on them.

I am going to order an A5 stock and was not sure about the aluminum pillars. Should I have McMillan install them or wait and let the smith that does the work install them?

The rifle will have a Surgeon RSR receiver and Badger M5 DBM.

I'd let your gunsmith install them for you - he'll be able to get a perfect match to your action.

The pillars come with the DBM.

Thanks for the help. I hope to get it ordered tomorrow. I'm slowly getting all the parts together. Maybe in a year or so I will have a new rifle.

FWIW: I'd go sniper fill weight too.
