??? about remington 700 serial number "t" prefix

i found a 700 with a serial number T####### i have never seen a T prefix on a 700 only the TT prefix found on newer titanium models.. could this be an older titanium model of something?

Hard to say without seeing it, but it appears the T alone isn't anything too special.

i found that thread also but i wanted to be sure before i passed on it. i guess i have to calling remington in the A.M to make sure.
