Only read a few pages but it looks pretty interesting.

So far it looks like the research validates what we have been discussing here.

I read the study some time ago. It reinforced my assessment for what's important to good shooting. I am particularly impressed with the in-depth presentation of "autonomous" execution of the firing tasks, as well as factors of a steady position. I think an understanding of the factors, not just to maintain aim, but to gain consistent recoil resistance is just not grasped by most shooters and thus these shooter will never get to the autonomous stage.
