Trijicon Accupoint TR23G, exposed turrets, mil-dot, side focus. I assume the adjustment are Mil? At around $620 is this a decent deal? I was planning on going with the 10X SS side focus at $399, is the Trijicon worth the extra 220?

Re: Accupoint

I've been looking for one of those and seems like a good price based on what I have found, but I haven't looked hard (assuming that is a used price).

Part of the reason for the price difference is the magnification - the TR23G is 5-20, and that it is variable versus fixed.

I guess the main question is whether you need variable magnification and what the highest you need is.

In terms of glass quality, I haven't used either one, but would guess the Trijicon would be a little better depending on how picky you are.

Re: Accupoint

$620 is a heck of a price. I paid $900 here on the Hide for mine.

A straight up comparison between the two is a bit apples to oranges. Remember, for the extra $220, you also get an illuminated reticle in a good scope.

Just try comparing how much the illumination feature cost in any decent scope.
