Accuracy International AT low scope Rail

Gents,

I have recently acquired an early Accuracy International AT. It has the ridiculously high 20 MOA rail.

I have done a search and found several available from different sources. Some state they are shorter than standard.

I haven’t seen a factory low rail offered anywhere.

Could any one offer an informed opinion please.

I have the high 20 moa rail on my AT. Other than making the scope/mount looking slightly too high, it isn't affecting anything. It's just an aesthetic issue.

I agree it is an aesthic thing. So when I spend a fortune on a rifle I want it to look as good as it shoots.
