Been waiting patiently for AI to shake loose some AX-50 rifles since the beginning of the year.

Checked with both sources, Mile High and Eurooptic, heard timeframes of April or May.
Today Troy from Mile High, who has been very good with communication, told me that it looks like September before they come down the pike.
Pretty late in the year to have much time to get some shooting in.

Question - This might be more of an insider thing, but perhaps someone has heard some scuttlebutt about this.
Does anyone know if AI is changing the A-50 for this year, in other words, is the rifle in September going to be the same design, stock and such
as they've offered for the last several years? In other words, if I find a AX-50, going to the be the same as the ones in September of 2019, or does AI have plans to change the butt stock or other features?

Not like it's going to kill me to wait unto September, but was hoping for one earlier in the spring or summer.

Thanks!

It would be exciting to see this rifle upgraded. When I go on EuroOptic's website it shows the rifle in stock in Elite Sand and in Sage Green, were you looking for a different color or are you saying that the website is out of date?

Hey Don,
I may be mistaken, but I believe that one is from an earlier production run, fall of 2018.
What I was trying to determine, was if the rifle was changing for 2019, with the continuous rail and AX buttstock?
That had been mentioned in previous communications.
I don't mind buying an '18, unless the '19 models will be changed.

My reply from the good folks at ANIA:
"As to the 2017 model Euro has, the only difference would be that the current rifles are full color matched and cerakoted, and have a slightly different attachment system for the forend tube.

The current model will continue for the near future, we have brought out prototypes fo a new 50, but there is no planned release date for this rifle at this time."

The AX50 has a place in my dreamscape, yet I have never quite managed to pull the trigger on one. About five years ago when EuroOptic had the special running an AX50 paired with a Hendsolt 3-27x for under 13K, perhaps that is when I should have done it.
