accuracy on 16.5" barrel .223

Hi, I would like to how much accuracy and velocity will suffer with a 16.5" barrel on a .223 bolt gun? I usually run 20" minimum on them. I would like to shoot it out to 600 yds. thanks

Barrel length doesn't really change accuracy potential.

As for velocity...depends on factory ammo or reloads, but you should be able to reach or slightly exceed the velocities of a 5.56 AR of same barrel length.

Are you looking at the stub-nose 700 Tactical?
