With the powder shortages in the burn rates normally used for M-14 / M1A's being what it is, is anyone trying any of the Accurate Arms powders ?and with what results ?
As a side note I know the AR-10 & 15's aren't as picky, I just tried some ammo that came with an AR-10T loaded with LEVERevolution and a friend is reporting good results in his AR 15.

I use AA4350 in my .260 since H4350 is unavailable.
I use AA No. 5 for several pistols.
I've had good results with both.

If you can find it AA 2520 is an outstanding powder for the .308 and works well in the .223. It measures like a champ repeats through the flow master beautifully.

168gr 42.2 gr AA 2520 runs about 2630 fps out of my M1A

I run accurate 2520. 41.6 with a 210M primer with either a 168 SMK or Hornady. 2540 fps. Use a LC match case. I has shot great in about 10 different M1A/M14's I have built.

Yea if you can't find any AA2520, go with 43.8 of IMR 4064 with a 175 SMK, Federal or LC match case with a 210M. It's a pain to load but man does it shoot good.

Allegedly AA 2495 is their equivalent to 4895.

Midsouth had both AA4064 and IMR 4064 yesterday in stock. The IMR was a good bit cheaper at roughly 15?.00/8 lbs.

ETA: yes I use quite a bit of Accurate powders but in 223 (no 308) and pistols. AA2230, #2, #5, and #7. All with good results.

I've used AA2230 for both 5.56mm and .308 with great results. Meters beautifully (Dillon powder measure) and with a little trial and error I've been able to find very accurate loads for both chamberings.

I have used AA4064 for 308 loads with 150-168 gr bullets. It appears to be a short-cut version of IMR-4064, and meters very well for a stick powder through my RCBS Uniflow. I used charge weights similar to IMR-4064 with good results
