Gunsmithing Accurate-Mag Floorplate slipping

Have Accurate-Mag 5 round magazines for my .308 bolt gun.

The floor plates start slipping out after 10 to 15 rounds.

Accurate-Mag customer service said to crimp the metal along the plate. They could also send a new floor plate (couldn't find the location on their site to order new ones). I'll do the crimp for now, but not sure about this as a long term fix.

Just wondering if anyone else had the Accurate-Mag floor plate slip and what worked for them as a long term fix.

Duct tape.

AI mags will do it too if you rest the mag on something and shoot. The recoil can loosen them. I tape all my mags.

Accurate-Mag sent 3 new floor plates. They have been solid and not slipped so far.

If they do, will go the duct tape route.
