Acme machine 1-8 scope opinions?

Does anyone have experience with the acme machine 1-8 ffp lpvo scopes? Opinions? Look to good to be true with illuminated 34mm tube and$250 price tag. Thoughts?

My suggestion might be to save up a bit more money?
I'm not saying there is anything wrong with it, but for $250 new price, they would have had to make a lot of tradeoffs to hit the price point..

I think you may find that you very quickly want to get a higher end scope and are unhappy about taking a bit of a loss in selling it.
