I have a collectable Swedish Mauser that has its front action screw broken off flush into the recoil lug, looking for an estimated cost to have a gunsmith remove without any damage.
No idea on cost but should be an easy job. Drill it and use a standard screw extractor or a LH drill bit. The craftsman screw extractors are basically LH drill bits and work well on the larger diameter screws.
very little... cost to remove would be an hour at the shop rate ($50-$100ish) or less depending on the guy, I'd probab;y charge you $20 if it came out as easily as most and hand you the rifle back in 15min.

Broken off screws just suck to remove generally. No gittin around it.
I've had really good success with drilling the hole as big as I can get away with and cramming a torx bit in with a hammer. Then use a ratchet to back it out.
