Action "smoothness"....will I be disappointed?

After shit-canning all of my stock Remmy's for my AIAW, the AI has now become my standard of what a bolt action should be for robustness, fit, and smooth operation.

Where would the Templar action be ranked among these factors in your opinion?

Ive never ran an AIAW, but I will say that I am could not be more happy with my Templar. Smooth as butter, functions perfect.

I'm sure that proper fit and precision machining accounts for much of the equation.

Well, I have cycled the Defiance actions, which is the mfr of the Templar action for GAP. They have a slightly heavier bolt lift, completely different feel than the AI actions, but they are smooth as glass none the less.
