can anyone send me dimensions on a rem 700 action wrench I have a lathe and a mill and Id like to make my own thanks

Why so big, the action is only 1.355" diameter? I would bore it to that size and then split it. It would hold better round and you would not have a problem with it crushing the action is you tighten to much. While you are at it, why not mill a slot for the recoil lug and align the cut to center it. You would not needd to piss around trying to get it to line up and you would not have to pin the lug either.

If you look at the "Notes" section, .500" will be taken up by brass bushings, as to not mar the action's finish.
