Gunsmithing Adjustable cheek piece

Hi, I am wondering has anybody ever added an adjustable cheek pad to a H-S Precision stock with a mercury recoil reducer in it? I am thinking of adding a Karsten adjustable one or just getting one that attaches to the stock by velcro. Any ideas?
