I am looking for a some recommended companies for either selectable gas blocks or adjustable ones in barrel .928" 6.5grendel. I dont shoot suppressed but I like the benefits from shutting gas off for various reasons. I also have a second that is .75" 308 at the gas block.

Looking for help finding companies who can make these items.

Thanks for your help in advance!

There are a large number of companies making adjustable blocks these days, including "custom" blocks setup with the individual rifle/goals in mind.

As for the grendel you mentioned...I have never seen a 0.928" journal on a barrel, but 0.936" is a very common size. If you do, in fact, have a 0.936" journal on your barrel, there are several companies making adjustable blocks including PRI, JP Enterprises and custom options from Paladin Machine (positional adjustable gas blocks made on a custom basis). Paladin doesn't have a website like PRI, JP, etc., but you can reach them at:

    Paladin Machine Service
    3832 Gates Ford Rd.
    Kershaw, SC 29067

    (803) 475-7542

As for the more common, 0.750" adjustable blocks, there are literally a TON of different options, including many offerings from the companies listed above, in addition to Syrac Ordnance, SLR Rifleworks (DA7 block is VERY nice), Seekins Precision, MicroMOA, etc.

Here are a few links for you:

    JP - Adjustable Gas Systems

AR 15 Accessories | Scope Mounts | Scope Rings

Syrac Ordnance | High quality gas blocks, barrels & other parts on the cutting edge of the small arms market.

    SLR Rifleworks

    Adjustable Gas Block

MicroMOA - Home of the Govnah - Modular Adjustable Gas Block

You're not going to want a JP for that purpose. JP is essentially a set with loctite and forget type block, which is great for its intended use, but not for yours. Syrac makes a pretty cool block that retains the adjustment with a detent, but they only make them in .625 and .750 that I can find.
