I ordered an American Defense Recon-S today which is the straight up version and am second guessing myself on whether or not I should have gotten the the offset version. I Am running a Troy 12" rail with my flattop ( S&W M&P) and figured I have enough real-estate to put the mount as far forward as I needed or wanted to get proper eye relief since it has the uninterrupted rail. But now here's the question, can I clamp on to some portion of the front hand-guard rail if I had to? So if I crossed over a few rails would that affect anything? Would accuracy suffer.
