Yep, done the google but I sure could use some input.
I have a need to buy five flashlight to scope mounts (for my two boys, my pop, a freind, and I) for a hog hunting trip in April, 2012.
I would like to avoid breaking the bank, as all the fractional costs of this hunting trip keep adding up (per my wife).

Scope tubes are 1inch (2 Nikon Mil-Dot), 28mm(USO SN4), 30mm (USO SN3), 35mm (I can not find any for a 35mm tube (USO SN3)

Any Thoughts????????

a section of picatinny rail, or even a weaver scope base attached to the rifle with wood screws either to the side or bottom.

clamp the flashlight in a scope ring, either 1" or 30mm, (preferably a ring that has a finger nut or QD ring).

keeps the light where you can actually reach it with low movement.

dangling heavy crap off the scope hardly ever works out in the long run.

this one has a cheap assed UTG rail cover over it when not in use:

they work well enough, and can be shimmed so the light is directed to where you want it to go.
