So after months of reading I finally decided to get a scope for my rifle.

Rifle: Armalite AR-10A4 SPR w/Magpul PRS
Scope: Leupold Mk4 LR/T 4.5-14x50 M1 w/illuminated TMR reticle
Mount: Larue QD LT104

Coming soon: Vortex Scope Level, Allostyr Railed Handguards, Harris Bipod and Ergo Grip w/palm shelf.

I had seriously considered getting the Vortex PST but Leupolds "Made in America" sticker was pretty much the deciding factor on that one. And I have read some of the reviews on here about some issues with Leupolds, but I asked Bambi what he thought about the Leupold I used last year and he didn't say much... as I pulled a piece of his rump out of the freezer...

I will probably be using this to hunt and target shoot with up to about 700yds so I really didn't see a need for more than 14x. Anyway, here are a few quick pics, nothing artistic lol.

I have the same scope except it is non-illuminated in the classified section. I was going to upgrade to a USO for my bolt and sell the MarkIV but I decided to just buy a USO for the bolt and move the MarkIV to the AR-10.

So my setup will be very close to yours. I like the setup it makes me think I made the right decision to keep it. Good luck with the pending deer season I know my AR will be locked and loaded come November!!

Well I sighted it in this weekend. First at the range then went out to the farm to practice with using the TMR reticle for ranging. Boy is there a difference between surplus .308 and Match lol. So here are a few pics, nothing crazy.

Less than 3/4" group @ 50 yds using Federal Sierra Matchking

The AR-10 with the SCAR 17, good way to get rid of some ammo...
