If only it was that simple but that just is not the reality of the situation. “Just don’t” is correct but that will not help many of us. Specifically those of us with NFA items. Our names are on a list that does not go away AND is supposed to be updated when we move.

I am certain that there are plenty of law enforcers who are just and are dedicated to upholding the values of this country. However, self interest is also an extremely powerful motivation and many will choose a paycheck, pension, medical benefits, and other perks over any non tangible ideal of Constitution and the rights of their fellow man. The statist politicians who are hell bent on disarmament know this to an art form and they will exploit this human weakness to the maximum for their gain. We have already seen this in action with numerous red flag orders being carried out purely on the word of a greedy family member, or guns being seized from travelers in cities like New York just because they did not realize that their CCL's are not valid in that region.

You are both correct. It is common for our side to loose momentum and not do things such as vote and rally around a cause such as we are seeing in Virginia. But at the same time that laziness cost us because we are not voting multiple times, we are not voting on behalf of the dead, and we are not aiding illegal immigrants to vote for us either.

We have a steep uphill battle to take back this country without blood shead, but we are taking that hill like a morbidly obese guy that has to take a break walking to the kitchen

The democrat party that was once for the working middle class man 50 years ago is long gone. It has been hijacked by globalist wealth re-distributionists and America haters. The majority of the republican party is spineless and beholden to the Chamber of Commerce big donors who could care less about the middle class wage earners here at home. Cheap labor by offshoring our manufacturing base is their number one goal, which ties in nicely with the enviro-whacko wing of the democrat party pushing for no more pollution here in our own backyard.

The democrat party is the most dangerous threat to our republic right now. They are hell bent on destroying it from within. It is blatantly obvious they don't care how much voter fraud it takes to win. Any gun owning liberal that still votes democrat is destroying the republic, and should be considered as aiding and abetting the enemy.

The war for the soul of the Republican Party will be won or lost in the primaries. Grahamnesty talks a good game - every sixth year. The rest of the time he votes in lockstep with the rest of the Quisling and Collaborator wing of the party. And since McCain died he has become their standard bearer.

Just thinking out loud here. My parents both served in WWII. My dad was a flight mechanic in the navy and flew B-24s on anti-sub patrol out of England. My mother was a nurse in the army nurse corp also in England. Both were early 20 or so. That generation experienced sacrifice and understood that there were things and causes greater than themselves. Every generation since has had it easier and easier. The current generation is so far removed from what my parents experienced they have no concept of what real sacrifice is. Now, before anyone lights up my hind-parts, those who serve in the military, law enforcement, first responders, doctors/nurses, etc., certainly do. But as a whole, most in this country don't.

Our schools are not teaching history and civics and are more about indoctrination than teaching life skills. Too many today want to be taken care of instead of taking care of themselves. In essence we, as a country, have grown soft. The lessons from history are there for everyone to see concerning what happens to such countries. Rome fell from within. It had decayed so badly it had no will to fight once their enemies were at the front door. I have to wonder if that is where we are as a country. Not talking about the members here as I believe we understand the gravity of our times. Nevertheless, I have to wonder what is going to happen to my state (Virginia) and this country. Our political parties are too corrupt to depend on anymore, if we ever could. Where does that leave us? My grandfather was a doughboy and fought in WWI. He and my parents always said war was horrible and hoped it would never come to this country. I do not take talk of civil war lightly and believe we have been in something of a cold civil war for some time. Is that where we are headed? I pray not but I'm afraid it may very well be. May God help us.
