IMHO and as the title suggests, the age to even Register to vote should be equal to or higher than the age to buy guns.

I'm AGAINST raising the minimum age for gun purchases to 21 Y.O.

Prior to 1970 the minimum age to vote in America was 21 years of age. Personally, I think the minimum age to Register to vote should be 29, with all the following requirements: being Natural Born of Natural Born parents, birth certificate, photo and fingerprints, property ownership, no warrants/outstanding fines or taxes, with a Red Flag law for voters.

Voter rolls to be cleared every year. No drop boxes. No absentee ballots except for Military. Voter ID, fingerprints and photos taken at every ballot casting.

A single vote can cause the ruin of a country, but one gun can't- so it's CLEAR votes are more dangerous than guns.

It's time for real change.

The very base requirement IS US citizenship. Pretty sure that was the the main thing I gained from becoming one - the right to vote. You can’t legally vote if you aren’t….. not that it being legal or not has ever stopped the Democrats. Voting has very real, long lasting consequences.

Filing taxes shouldn’t be part of the criteria. Too many people on gov’t assistance still file. Gov’t employees file taxes as well yet don’t pay them. Their paychecks are taxes. They are a net negative for tax revenue.

If you are on welfare of any kind then you don’t vote. If you are a government employee you also don’t vote. Both have similar detrimental impacts on society. You want to vote then get a real job.
