How different are the AICS 2.0 and AT AI 2.0 chassis from each other? Is it a simple skin swap to turn an AI AT into an AICS?

They sell the thumbhole kit for the AT if that’s what you’re looking for. Other than that that probably as close as you’ll get it. The AT has sling QD ports instead of the hook eyelets like on an AICS 2.0. And under the firearm has the AI KeySlot in an AT compared to just the standard Anschutz rail on the 2.0.
