What are some of the most common accessories for the AIAE MKIII that you guys can recommend? Mine came with a bipod, buttspike, and buttstock spacer kit already.

I am thinking about getting a sling and also a hard case. What are some of the best slings for the AIAE besides the factory? It seems the factory are not that well made. I found the Urban ERT Sling to look very comfortable at a very decent price. Can someone chime in on this?

Also about the transport case, should I get a hard pelican case or should I get a good soft case? Anyone can chime in on this experience? What type of case should I get?

I'd suggest a good look at the Tab Gear sling (either standard or Elite) and then add the dope thing and the sling thing as well as a couple of their magazine pouches & a few sandbags

For the case, you need to ask yourself where and how are you and your rifle going? If you are flying, then a hard case is a must. If it's going to be tossed in the back of your pickup truck then a hard case again is a must.
If you will however be taking it from your safe to your car (or smaller SUV) to the range / competition then back again, a soft case is the way to go. Tactical Operations used to make some very drag bags with lots of features, here is some pictures of them: TacOps Drag Bags 2013 Update
On the case, I'd get the small version not the large. Their drag bags also have a compact shooting mat that stows in the back.

Also get a good bore guide (like one of the AI ones) if you don't already have it.

Ahh. Tab gear has some nice accessories to it. :) I'll look around up there.

What about boreguide. I have checked a few out, but it seems to get inconsistent review between the MTM and the Tipton. Can you recommend a bore guide?

I would recommend the tipton bore guide, save yourself the future investment and buy the bore guide pack too. Its awesome got both for like 50$ shipped on amazin. Also if its an adjustable stock the AI thumbscrews are a must. The TAB sling with HK Clips. I went with TAB rear bags. As for cases I will always put my rifle in a pelican case. Whether its to a competition, in the air, to the range. It goes into a Pelican. I cut it with hot wire for a perfect fit. I'm kind of obsessed with pelicans actually.

TAB sling is bad ass! accushot makes a really nice AI spigot bipod, big dog steel makes a pic spigot as well, viperskins if you want a pistol grip, there is a ton of options.

I have TAB slings and TIS (Tactical Intervention Specialists) slings and I like both of them. I just got a new sling for my AW after I gave my old TAB sling away. I tried the new TAB Rapid Adjust Sling (RAS) but I could not get sufficient sling tension even with the sling as short as possible, it might just have to do with my particular body and arm dimensions. I returned it for a TIS Slip Cuff Quick Release sling and I'm very satisfied with it. You can get both brands at Triad Tactical.

I just use a USGI sling with sling swivels and it works great. The AI sling is just mediocre. It has too many sliding bits, adjustments and the HK hooks which are problematic.

I use the AI bipod and it works well. My only complaint is the legs like to shoot out when you fire it in non bipod positions. I also don't like how the legs fold backwards because it makes barricade shooting difficult. Otherwise, it is rugged and fast deploying. It is a very good field bipod.

For cases, softcase is fine. Hard case is fine. Just get what works. Some of the hard cases are very heavy empty and overkill. IMO.
