AI Handstop + Bipod Mount Question

Hey guys,

Never messed with an AI bipod before. How does it attach? There is a small nub above the spigot that looks like it applies downward force to keep it on, and there is a latch on the bipod itself as well. It appears obvious to depress the latch on the bipod, but it hits the knurled nub on the stock.

ETA: I am using the AI handstop + bipod spigot mount.

Re: AI Handstop + Bipod Mount Question

Is anyone using the handstop + bipod mount setup?

Re: AI Handstop + Bipod Mount Question

By the sounds of it you have a versapod if the locking latch is on the bipod itself and the spigot is on the handstop.

Does it look like this..

or this

with this...

It may help with working out whats going on.

JJ,

Thanks for the pics! It looks like the first set... the spigot is on the handstop itself. But when you slide the bipod on, and depress the latch on the bipod, it hits the knurled part that sticks out, shown in your last picture..

ETA: Here are pics of what I have.

What bipod is it? It is not marked "versa-pod" ..

Bump. Can someone confirm the bipod? AI, Versa, or.. ?

Re: AI Handstop + Bipod Mount Question

Thanks guys. Still not sure how it fits on there, but I decided to use my trusty Harris instead.
