So I picked up a 5rd AI mag today for my Tikka in an Oryx chassis. It turns out it looks like I got an AI AX mag 6852 instead of an AICS mag 3901. I was wondering if anyone that has one of both could tell me if the difference between the two is the lip on the 6852. If thats the only difference I will probably just grind the lip off. Otherwise I am gonna have to go see if I can return it. If grinding the lip doesnt work I am waiting a week before I can shoot since no where local has anything other than magpul mags.

Well for anyone that is interested, I broke the dremel out with a grinder wheel less than 5 minutes later the lip was gone. Mag fit into the oryx. Rounds fed perfectly. So $40 for a 5rd steel AI mag
