AI vs AW Mags

My defiance action and Hawkins DBM will accept AW mags. Is there any negative draw backs on running them? The only thing I can think of is the AI mags feed straight in line with the chamber versus each side. Could that cause accuracy (bullet deform) or feeding issues?

They can be finicky in a two lug action.

On mine I could get it to feed (terminus) but it was finicky. The AI uses dual feed rams almost like an AR-15. But most bolt actions have center/single feed ramps. I have found guys who modified the ramps and it acn work. But most guys give up and just run aics for this reason
