A while back a few guys were ungluing their AT barreled actions and putting them in MPA chassis. Functionally how would that compare to putting a M2013 in an MPA chassis running AW mags? I've always thought the bonding of the action was what made the AT/AX so durable. With that attribute removed is that barreled action as bomb proof as it is in the factory configuration?
I don't have a dog in this fight just thinking out loud. I also don't understand why the price difference between an AT and an AX is any more than the price difference between to two chassis - $600. Just trying to figure some things out. Wanting a 60deg throw rifle but like the MPA and don't love the AI pistol grip but really like the AX butt stock.
