AIAW/ Border Barrles

I know that Border Barrels from Scotland provide the barrels for the AI AW rifles.

Does anyone know if these barrels are finished and chambered by Border, or does AI just use Border blanks and finish the rest in house?

Dear and hello pointblank and SH members,this is my second post.

As for as I know, Border barrels are all finished by Border before they coming in the AI factory.
I have purchased several barrels in various calibers for my AI rifles. They were all finished including threading and headspacing by Border in house and the headspaces were all perfect with my PTG go/nogo gauges.

indeed. All the machining on the barrel is done by Border on the Border and Archer barrels AI uses for their wares. AI finish coats them thereafter..
