Can you buy AIAW seperately ? And if so, know of any vendors that carry them ? My udnerstanding is that they are different than the AICS skins

AW skins do not have the action bolt holes for the Remington actions nor do they have the square cut out for the bolt handle area for AICS chassis, take a peek at any AI rifle AE or AW and look around the bolt area and you will see the difference in them.

The AW skins are modified for the AICS. I would recommend you contact MHSA or Bauer Arms for assistance.

As stated they are diffrent. One of the major diffrences is the relief cut for the bolt handle. AICS cuts are square to accomodate the 700 action. True AW's are cut circular. That is just one of the few diffrences quickly noticable.

I think you'll also find that the AW skins vary according to whether there is a BUTT Spike fitted or not.
I got a spare pair once that I had to send back because of this....
