I received my new AIAX in .338LM. The barrel profile is lighter than I normally like. I had a barrel blank for my AIAWM its 1.250 where it goes into the receiver MTU barrel. I was going to machine it and fit it to my AIAX. When I looked at the barrel on the AIAX I found it was 1.450 where it goes into the receiver, which I found to be kind of annoying. The only way I know you are going to get a 1.450 MTU profile is to have it custom ordered. This is just an FYI for anybody that is going to buy one of the AIAX's and is going to change the barrel. Especially if you think a barrel blank you have for your AIAWM is going to work. Although, everybody probably already knew this except for me.
