Full disclosure-I am an idiot sometimes.
My first AX had a 13” fore end. It was fairly recent production being a ‘17. Fast forward to today and my replacement AX arrived with a 16” fore-end. About two weeks later a Proof carbon arrived that I had on order for some time and well the new fore-end and barrel don’t jive. I have no desire to shoot a barrel that doesn’t go past the fore-end
My stupidity is your gain. Full specs: Brand new 10 twist 16.5” AI prefit in carbon fiber with small shank (M27) chambered in 308. If any of you have the 20” version I will consider trading (used ok).
I’m going to take a huge $$ hit on this, but it ain’t doing me any good. $700 shipped and insured TYD. Pics will go up later tonight.
