AICS 1.0 Skins Question

Will the AICS 1.0 skins fit on a 1.5 chassis without any modification? The Tac Pro site says that they will, but in doing a search of this site, some have said that the 1.0 can be "modified" or "cut" to fit. Some have also posted about converting the 1.0 to use the 1.5 adj. cheekpiece. I am not concerned about doing that, but need to know if just the skins are interchangable without modification.

Re: AICS 1.0 Skins Question

They should as far as I know. If you put on 1.0 skins onto the chassis (1.0 and 1.5 chassis are the same) you would not be able to use the cheekpiece, unless you modify the skins to accept it.

Re: AICS 1.0 Skins Question

The Stage 1.0 and 1.5 are both fixed stocke and the 2.0 is folding. The fixed stocks start as 1.0's and get machined to 1.5's if the adjustable cheek piece option was chosen so boith can be used in a fixed stock. We no longer offer the fixed cheek piece option as only a small proportion of our customers ordered it.
