AICS LA magazine with 308 cartridge

I'm thinking I'd like to put together a 308 in R700 LA to be able to handload long BTHP without the concern of not fitting in a SA DBM. I'm pretty sure I'm going to use the XLR chassis. Does anyone have experience with 308 cartridges in AICS 300winmag magazines? Any issues with feeding?

I hunted the internet/site without success, I apologize if I've missed any pertinent info.

It's easier to just modify your short action mags.

We have used a 700 L/A in 243 in a McRee chassis feed from modified 300WM L/A mags.... No feeding issues...

As Graham stated though, you can modify or purchase S/A AICS mags that allow you to load to 2.900.

You need to bend the feed lips in for the smaller/narrower 308/30-06 case...
