I was wondering if anybody here has ever used the AICS magazines for the 284 Winchester Cartridge in a long action. I'm going to be seating the 162's or 180's far out of the case and was planning on going with a Rem 700 long action, but want to be sure of reliable feeding first.
AICS mag for the 284Win cartridge in Long Action?

Yep. Some of mine worked fine from the factory. Others needed just a little love on the feed lips.
the case dia is about the same as 300 WM so I figure the AI mags for 300WM would work for 284 in a long action,,
