Would like to hear from anyone that has modified aics mags for a standard caliber, specifically 6.5x55. What is involved and how did it turn out?

I am running mine in a long action and using 300 WM single stack magazines that have the feed lips tweaked to run the slimmer Swede case.

I will be using a long action and assumed that I would have to use 300 AM mags. Is it hard to get them to run reliably. Thanks for your help.

What's your OAL on the Swede? I've wondered a few times if you could jam one into an short action AW mag.

I am running my Swede in the AICS 300wm mag, just a tweak to the feed lips. I have no feeding issues.

There would have to be a lot of bullet in the case if you wanted to shoot the 140's or 130's. I have a 6.5x55 GW on a TRG 42 and my COAL is around 3.150'' with 140 JLK's if I remember right.
