Watch out... you'll end up with a PIG of a rifle.. mine is 17+ lbs..

If your going to be walking it anywhere I'd seriously consider the standard Palma or similar to a AIAW contour with the flutes.. you'd save something over 2lbs I think..

No question of quality with a Kreiger..

same here

on the PIG OF A RIFLE

mine was 22" Krieger MTU , AICS 1.5 bedded, leupy scope , rings, seekins base, rings, etc.,

it weighed in at 16

just too heavy - took a class , stalking etc, and had to hold that gun up for 20 minutes , while under observation

NOT fun

i sold it

I thought you didnt have to bed a aics stock. was I misinformed?

Its an arguable point. Shoot it first unbedded then decide, measurable gains may not be had, but the piece of mind may be worth it to you (esp with a big ass barrel, I'd do a barrel pad and bed the action). KMW beds them, R&D doesn't, I do, some don't.......you get the picture.
