Rifle Scopes Aimpoint M4 question for an owner

I just recvd my M4 and on the intensity knob, there is a lot of play in between each click. Maybe an 1/8th of a turn. Is this normal or not?

Btw, for the price of this shit you would think they would put a duracel in and not some chinese battery.

I have 2, and dont really have any "play" in between clicks...

No play on mine either. Mine came with a duracell too.(Comp4)

IIRC, they are intended to have some free movement without changing settings. It keeps it from changing when rubbing on gear.

It appears SPR1 is correct. The knob on the newer models is lose to protect the rheostat
