New/Factory Sealed. I purchased two of these T2s from Opticsplanet at the same time. They were advertised as "demo" units, but came factory sealed. I opened one (but never used it, and will list it later) and it was 100% brand new. I'm pretty sure that just like many other vendors, the "demo" designation is just a workaround allowing them to sell certain inventory below the MSRP.
