Gunsmithing all pro barrel vise

anybody have any experience with one of these?

I don't but a smith south of me uses a homebrew version of the same design. He has wider plates with lead faces that have a few different size openings....he said its quite old and works great.

here is a wheeler for a decent price. I think with any of these i could just use the wood blocks to hold a brownells bushing into place to keep from having to make them.


Would the system be to weak having the aluminum bushings in a wood block in the barrel vise?

i dont know why i couldnt find all these cheaper alternatives to the brownells version before. almost like i had my brownells blinders on.

I have wood bushings. They don't look neat and fancy, but they work. Add a bit of lead flashing to your pile of stuff and you can grab anything.

I have lead flashing actually, ALOT of it.
I just ordered this though after an almost hour long conversation w/ bob pastor.
