Rifle Scopes Am I calculating this correctly?

1 click =
1/4" @ 100yds or
1/8" @ 50yds or
1/16" @ 25yds or
1/32" @ 12.5yds

I am trying to sight in my pellet rifle in my backyard. The scope says 1 click @ 100yds = 1/4" (got that part). So the real question is, should it take 10 clicks to move it an inch at say 25yards? I have it dialed in and can make all the pellets touch each other, but its one of those things I just can't quit pondering. Also good to know if I need to resight it in at a different distance quickly.

Thanks guys!!!

Dont think in clicks, if you like moa, then 1 moa is approx 1" @ 100Y, 1/2" at 50Y, 1/4" @ 25Y. Sure you can get to the nutz 1 moa = 1.047" but its a pellet rifle.

Sight it in for 25Y and go shoot some squirrels (in season of course).

To your point, you have to dial twice as much at 50Y and four times as much at 25Y to move one inch.

I like MIL my mind can wrap around that with no problem...but the scope in question is a reg huntin scope with capped adjustments and the classic reticle.
