Wasn't real sure where the best place to post this was but if I'm reading this right SWFA is running an amazing deal. Probably one of the best deals I've ever seen. Link is below. Just copied and pasted link so hope it works. If I had the cash right now I would be all over this (if anyone wants to give out a line of credit I'm all ears :) ). I am in no way affiliated with SWFA just wanted to post incase anyone would be interested. If i am breaking any rules I apologize. I saw this and the first thing I thought of was The Hide.

Yeah that's a dang good deal for sure. Sucks I live in the same state as them so sales tax makes it not so good of a deal anymore.
 
Wow, that is a damn good deal. Pretty much giving an Atlas away for free.
 
If only I had known before just buying two new scopes and an atlas. :/
 
I like the Atlas.

And here I wanted to wait until SHOT show to see what will come out before I buy a scope...
 
wow fantastic if you have the resources. too bad, it would be a few months before it would be attainable. good job at posting it first and bringing to peoples attention.
 
I have absolutely zero IRL experience with SWFA SS. Are they quality stuff? I was waiting on my barrel to get here to buy glass, but if this is gtg then I may have to jump. How does this scope stack up to say, a Bushnell Elite Tactical (ET6245FG)?

Watched LoneWolf's review. My self-restraint is failing at this point.

The SSHD's have some of the best glass in its class. The clarity and crispness against the Bushnell is not even comparable (and I own an XRS). I owned two of these and regret getting rid of them. The only reason I don't have them again is because I am now used to the GAP-type reticle in the XRS and EBR2B in the Razor. Also, the glass is just as clear as the Razors. They are absolutely rock solid, and both of mine were 100% repeatable the entire time I had them. SWFA stands behind their goods as most of these companies do nowadays.

If you're contemplating it, do it. You will love it.

Thanks for the input. If they're there tomorrow afternoon then I'll be buying it (and then selling an Atlas).

i was wandering around looking for a place to drop a pic of smeagol with a SS HD 5-20x50 scope in his ass and wandered in here, wondered if it was the right place.

one is not vetted unless banned at least 2 times
 
Meh, I can piece together those parts cheaper , especialy If I find a good used SS (which makes no difference with warranty... no reason to buy new and take depreciation hit. )
 
Turdcutter, we know how much you love threadcrapping, but would it kill you not to do it for five minutes?
