Suppressors Amending a trust?

Guys, if I amend my trust and add a trustee do I send an ammended copy to the ATF? Are there any other things I should do when making an amendment?

IM NO LAWYER, with my trust. I will send in copies of amendments with future form 4 items. To show that a change was made and when. I will also have the amendments notarized.

I wish I could find the thread on here between me and StalkingRhino discussing this on the old system. I had to re-do my whole trust since it was a property trust being converted by a lawyer into a gun trust and mailed it in with amendents via certified/signature mail. The consensus was that if they already have your Trust on file just do an amendment, notorize it (along with your new trustee's signature), and fax it in for confirmation. If you want to mail it....notorize, send certified/signature mail and ask for a return statement that they recieved it and what it contained.

I could probably email the amendments the way my lawyer did it via pdf or word doc with my personal info taken out if need be. The trust is about 36 pages and the amendments were about 6 pages though. Should give you a general idea how to adjust it and add trustees as I had to do.

You can amend the trust any time you like (Just not the name of the trust) and you dont need to send a copy of the amended trust to the ATF. The only time they need a copy is when you submit an F4.
