AMERICAN EAGLE XM33 50BMG TARNISH

I got 300 rds of this 50 bmg over 50% of it has red tarnish
specks on it.It came off with scotch brite.Dosnt look like it
pitted.Any one have the same problem?It looks red like rust.

i have just got about 2000 rounds of it and haven't opened any of the boxes yet but i will and report back.

ok just checked a couple of my boxes of xm33 and yes there what looks like flux or some sort of sealant speckled around on the cases. it is brown but not rust at all it is some sort of liquid that has dried and is very hard almost like brown specks of paint. but i dont think it will interfere with anything its just cosmetic and certinally not rust.

im going to leave it and shoot it and then when i reload i will get it off then.
