Did not know where else to post this inquiry, but I do know some knowledgeable people frequent this forum ...
In the first week of June, I am driving my daughter from down here in Baton Rouge up to Chicago for a job. On the way back I will be driving solo and since I am newly retired and have time, I thought I might stop along the way at an ammo plant (like Lake City in Missouri -- if they give tours) or rifle factory or the such on the way home.
Does anyone have a recommendation? Do they give tours? Etc. Anything will help, even directions to a website for more info. I guess I will call the NRA, but wanted to check with you guys first. Even an optics facility would be nice. Thanks for any help.
