I need to anneal a few pieces of 22-250 Lapua brass for a hunt on Thursday and realized I don't have the #7 pilot that AMP recommends. I ordered one but don't think it will make it in time. I do however have a #17 that I use for 6CM brass. The 22-250 fits in pilot and is only 0.010" shorter. I gotta think this would be ok. I also have AZTEC and could burn one to check.
