With the DD rail, you just tilt the rifle rather than having to tilt the rifle and pop your head up. It mounts the red dot about the same height as the scope.</div></div>
That setup looks actually good. My only concern is how much further to the right does the red dot sit compared to the TNVC ring where the red dot is closer to the center? What range do you have your T1 zeroed at and how much shift do you get from 0-75 yards for example? </div></div>
When I shoot with the 1 o'clock offset mount, I rotate the whole rifle 30 degrees to the left (no change in head position, cheek weld, or hand location) so that the sight is vertical above the bore. Then I shoot it and sight it in just like normal. It is fast and easy.
I zero it at 100 yards and then it's between an inch low and dead on from 30 yards to 150 yards.
