been out for while, new duty station has me on a high op-tempo
anyway, decided to build a deer hunting 308 instead of buying a G2
Started with a 24 inch DPMS Bull upper
replaced the receiver and tossed the barrel on a lathe, cut the barrel to 21.75 inch, reduced the contour and added small cooling cuts(doubt they will do anything), added an 11 degree crown and a midwest ind low pro forend, vortex PST 2.5x10 MIl/Mil, I will duracoat it later once I find my stuff still in boxes from the PCS move, still out of the AO but I have some downtime so I can post this, will be back in my state soon to finish the rifle
the lower is from my 7mm08 I built, no need for a second lower
