Ok,I am being a pain in the ass I suppose..BUT

I found a 6mmbr barrel from Author Brown and
need your help here,please.

it is 1 in 8 twist, chambered for the longer heavy
bullets..But it is a varmit weight barrel..So the
million dollar question,,,,is it worth getting one
of these. Our shoots are 20 rounds plus sighters
in 30 minutes...And I never had any dealings
with a chromemoly barrel or whatever...

So if you got a few minutes to tell me about it
please.Thanks

Their Varmint contour tapers to .865" at the muzzle.
Most of the barrels seen on the line are .900 or 1.25" to deal with the heat of 20 shot strings in a short time.
I have never seen a non-stainless barrel used in F-Class on any non-factory gun.
An 8 twist is what most of the 105Hybrid shooters use.

You are MUCH better off buying a name barrel (Bartlein, Brux, Kreiger, Douglas, Hart, Obermeyer) and having it chambered than buying a pre-fit - if you are serious about competing.

^^ yes sir. If you are genuinely interested in being competitive just buy a nice stainless barrel and have it set up. Some factory rifles come with decent chromo barrels, but they still tend to give way to SS barrels in the long run. Check out bugholes.com. he is a hide sponsor and regularly has a pretty impressive stock of quality barrels. They also do some pretty good work themselves.
