I'm probably going to print more groups but, I have a good load that I worked up with new brass and, now it's once fired.

I do FL size the bodies and I do the necks seperately.

Now, I did size the necks on the new brass....

Do you guys think that as I print a new set of groups with the same load that they will shoot differently than the first set?

I'm guessing they will since the shoulders will be in a different spot now. Also, the neck tension will be slightly different on once fired too, I suspect... even though I did the necks on the new brass, I suspect that the necks will be more slippery now.

I hate printing groups but, there's no way around it.

Re: another new brass question

If you didn't FL the virgin brass, only necked it,
Then yes, it will probably shoot a bit different now you have fired and sized it.

HOW much different depends on lots of things,
Suck it and see.

I have a virgin brass load that I only have to increase the charge by .2 grns after firing to get back to the same POI and velocity.
It depends if your load is in an OCW or not, allowing for a bit of pressure variation without altering your POI.
Load up and try it!

Re: another new brass question

Yeah, I'll print some this week.

I'll start with my load that has been working well and move up from there, I believe. It may be on the accuracy node still but, I guess I'll have to shoot a few to find out.

I hate spending my barrel on printing groups but, I guess there's no way around it if you want good ammo.
